Marilyn stresses that
healthy skin is one of the body’s most important defenses against
disease. It acts as a barrier by preventing the penetration of harmful
bacteria. As we grow, the skin becomes vulnerable to attack by the
elements and is subject to daily wear and tear. Regular facials and
proper skin care helps keep skin looking young and healthy by slowing the
aging process.

following tips to help your skin maintain its luster:

Drink plenty of
water; moisture is important in keeping the collagen supple.

Use a moisturizer
with sunscreen daily. Even walking through the parking lot to the store
could expose your skin to the damaging rays of the sun.

Eat five servings of
fruits and vegetables every day. People who eat healthy have nicer
skin.

Quit smoking. It can
improve skin tone as it allows more oxygen to the skin cells.

Take a good
multi-vitamin. Sometimes a simple vitamin deficiency can keep our skin
from looking its best.
